Tom Rourke
Tom is an award winning director, animator and motion graphics designer based in London.
His portfolio includes comedy animations for the BBC, directing a music video for The Wombats, and motion graphics for some of the UK's most recognisable television programmes, including ITV News, This Morning, Lorraine, Good Morning Britain, Loose Women and Beat the Brain.
For five years, Tom was the in-house senior animator at ‘I Fucking Love Science’, creating videos that have collectively amassed more than 70 million views.
His short film ‘The Penguin Who Couldn’t Swim’, made in collaboration with the BFI and Wingspan Productions, was broadcast on BBC Four in 2018 and is available to watch one BFIplayer.
In 2020, Tom was invited to sit on the BAFTA jury for the Short Animation category.
Tom currently works as a Motion Graphics Designer at ITN, while continuing to develop projects across animation, film and motion design.
